Master Bartender Training Course and Exam

Master Bartender Training Course Is broken into 2 major sections; Bar Essentials and Cocktails.  Bar Essentials covers the basic to intermediate beverage knowledge.  Cocktails is designed as a style of cocktail with its proper method.

The Master Bartender Online Training Course and Exam is only for educational purposes - to help better educate beverage professionals and to stay educated within the beverage industry.

The Master Bartender Exam is a 4 hour exam testing the beverage professionals in knowledge, speed, accuacy and service.  The Master Bartender Exam has questions from categories including:

  • Bar Equipment

  • Bar Terminology

  • Bar Cheffing

  • Bartending

  • Mixology

  • Beer

  • Wines

  • Spirits

  • Sakes

  • Cocktails (Both Mixology cocktails and Bartending Cocktails)

 

Students are expected to obtain the knowledge and skills on their own.  Masters of Beverage offers a course for the Master Bartender exam.  All beverage professionals need to show up 30 minutes before the start of the exam.  

 

The Masters Bartender Exam includes:

  • 200 Multiple Choice Questions

  • 20 Short Answer Questions

  • Pour Test (Accuracy and Speed)

  • Bar Service and Knowledge

 

 

 

 

The Master Specialist Exam is a 4 hour exam testing the beverage professional in knowledge, speed, accuracy and service.  The Master Specialist Exam has questions from categories from farm to glass of the following categories:

  • Coffee

  • Tea

  • Beer

  • Wine

  • Spirits

  • Sake

  • Cocktails

  • Cigars

 

Students are expected to obtain the knowledge and skills on their own.  Masters of Beverage offers a course for the Master Specialist exam.  All beverage professionals need to show up 30 minutes before the start of the exam.

 

The Master Specialist exam includes:

  • 250 Multiple Choice Questions

  • 20 Short Answer Questions

  • Tasting 

  • Bar Service and Knowledge

 

Master Manager

Each level describes the students level or status:

 

  • Level 1 - Master Bartender

  • Level 2 - Master Mixologist

  • Level 3 - Master Beverage Professional

  • Level 4 - Master Beverage Manager

  • Level 5 - Master of Beverage

Master of Beverage

Each level describes the students level or status:

 

  • Level 1 - Master Bartender
