The Proper Cocktail

Sours

Duo's are cocktails made with a liquor and a cordial.  These drinks tend to be sweeter based on the sweetness content of the cordial used.  

Sidecar

It is believed the Sidecar was created in Paris at Harry's New York Bar was said to have created this cocktail around the time of World War I.  Triple Sec and Cointreau play an interesting roll in crafting this cocktail.  It is believed that the Sidecar is a relative of the Brandy Daisy.

1 ½ ounces Gin

2 ounces Sour Mix

Fill with Soda

1 ounces brandy

1 ounce rum

Hurricane glass, filled with ice

1 ounce light Rum

2 ounces Sour Mix

Lime Garnish

 

Kamikazei 

Martini Glass, chilled

3/4 ounce Vodka

3/4 ounce Triple Sec

3/4 ounce Lime Juice

 

Midori Sour

Double Rocks Glass, filled with ice

2 ounces of Midori

4 ounces of Sour Mix

Cherry Garnish

 

Pisco Sour

Martini glass, chilled

2 ounces Pisco Brandy

½ ounce fresh lemon juice

Dash of simple syrup

1 egg white

2 dashes bitters

 

White Lady

Martini glass, chilled

2 ½ ounces gin

½ ounce cointreau

½ ounce lemon Juice

1 egg white

Lemon twist garnish

 

Whiskey Sour

Double Rocks Glass, filled with Ice

2 ounces Whiskey

4 ounces Sour Mix
